Border and documents
From Albania to North Macedonia, the crossing is usually at Qafë Thanë, for Struga, Ohrid and Skopje, or at Tushemishte, for Shën Naum and the southern shore of the lake. You only need a valid passport or ID card; the minibus driver has the documents. Some nationalities may require a visa, so check before traveling.
