About Sazan and Karaburun
The Karaburun Peninsula and Sazan Island are located at the entrance to the Gulf of Vlora, where the Adriatic Sea meets the Ionian Sea. Since 2010, their waters have been part of the Karaburun-Sazan National Marine Park, the only national marine park in Albania, with hidden bays, sea caves and crystal clear water.
Sazani is Albania's largest island, about 5.7 km². It was a closed military base for decades and still preserves bunkers and buildings from the Cold War era; it was opened to visitors in 2015. In Karaburun, the Haxhi Ali Cave, named after the legendary pirate Haxhi Ali Ulqinaku, is the largest sea cave on the Albanian coast, while in Grama Bay ancient inscriptions carved into the rock are preserved.

The driver will pick you up at your hotel or address in Tirana. We recommend leaving early in the morning, so you have as much time at sea as possible. The return will be made in the same place, in the evening.
What should I take with me?
Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and water. For the pebble beaches we recommend light water shoes.
What if the weather is bad or the sea is rough?
The sailing will only take place when the weather and sea conditions are safe. In case of bad weather, the tour will be postponed to another date or canceled.
Is lunch included?
No. You can bring your own food and drinks or buy them in Vlora before the boat departs.
