About Kolašin
Kolašin is a small mountain town in northern Montenegro, about 950 meters above sea level. It is known as a ski resort in winter and as a starting point for nature walks in the Bjelasica Mountains in summer.
Near the city is the Biogradska Gora National Park, with Lake Biograd and one of the last virgin forests in Europe. The road from Podgorica to Kolašin passes along the Morača Canyon, one of the most picturesque parts of the journey.
